Editorial policy
The journal keeps observation, evidence and interpretation close together.
Pages begin with a question and state what the available evidence can support. We prefer a careful explanation to a precise claim that cannot be checked. Dates, methods and limits are kept visible when they matter.
Corrections and sources
Corrections are reviewed against the page, its sources and the reported change. When a material error is confirmed, the page is updated and the change is dated. Images are produced for this publication or used with permission.
